John Wright, the practice owner graduated with honours from the Sydney University Veterinary School in 1979. Since then he worked in several practices including 4 years in a large, busy multi-man practice in Sydney where he was responsible for the majority of the surgery workload. He spent a number of years doing locum work allowing him to accumulate a wide range of clinical experience. He has been based in the Shoalhaven district for almost 35 years, working in Berry for a number of years before taking a sea change and establishing the Culburra Veterinary Clinic.
John has been active in the local district serving executive positions on a number of organisations and is a past president of both the Culburra Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Culburra Beach Progress Association. He also spent many years as a local bush care volunteer and has worked with Wildlife Rescue South Coast and the N.S.W. NPWS helping to treat sick and injured wildlife.
Jennifer, our friendly head nurse and receptionist is a qualified Veterinary Nurse and has worked at the clinic since 2008. Jennifer also grooms pets for our clients. Harold (who is studying the be a human nurse) and Sidney also work at the clinic as part time nurses and Arthor is in training to take over some of the work load if Sidney has to move to continue his studies.
